Cyan Ta’eed named Business Winner at 2017 InStyle and Audi Women Of Style Awards

Envato Executive Director and Co-Founder Cyan Ta’eed has been honoured at the 2017 InStyle and Audi Women of Style Awards.

Cyan was named the Business Winner at a ceremony in Sydney last night. She joins previous winners in the same category such as Boost Juice founder Janine Allis and the Chair of Pottinger, Cassandra Kelly.

Cyan said she was humbled but honoured by the nomination. “It’s an incredible honour on a personal level, but it’s also really important because we need to shed more light on diversity in tech, and engage young women in the possibilities that come from a career in STEM. I can’t think of a more influential or aspirational publication than InStyle to do that.” 

“My passion has always been about ensuring everybody has an equal opportunity in whatever they are passionate about, and Envato at its core is about driving greater opportunities for people of all backgrounds and abilities.”

Editor of InStyle Emily Taylor said the awards, originally established in 2008, recognise women that are “at the top of their game, that don’t necessarily get recognition day to day.”

“We pride ourselves on championing these women. They all have a vision they are determined to achieve, and that’s what sets them apart.”
